Swim Instructor - Big Blue Swim School : Job Details

Responsibilities:

- Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels

- Create and implement lesson plans based on the needs and abilities of each swimmer

- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety

- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help swimmers improve their skills

- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons

- Maintain a clean and organized pool area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a swim instructor or in a related role preferred

- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, including children and adults

- CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)

- Lifeguard certification is a plus

- Experience working with students or coaching sports is beneficial

- Background in physical education, cheerleading, judo, karate, or other sports is advantageous
