SWD Operator - DANOS : Job Details

OverviewThe position of Salt Water Disposal Operator will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision.Responsibilities* Cleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps and offload locations.* Provide excellent customer service while interacting with truck drivers.* Checking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal.* Proactively monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.* Daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions.* Perform necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.* Monitoring and account for skim oil volumes removed from facility.* Tracking pump pressures.* Coordinate with trucking companies on delivery of saltwater.* Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment.* Maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.* Ensure compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.* Reporting safety and environmental issues to management.Qualifications* Must live within 50 miles of Carlsbad, NM* One (1) year of salt water disposal operation experience.* High school diploma or GED equivalent.* Strong working knowledge of PD pumps, Quinniplex pumps, H pumps, & Centrifugal pumps.* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Basic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Excel) and simple mathematical calculations.* Valid driver's license and clean record.
