SVP People & Technology, Trilogy (Remote) $400,000/year USD

This role focuses on engineering a scalable HR and talent system using AI-first, low-code tooling with no traditional managers. The objective is to create automated, data-driven processes that replace conventional management overhead while delivering measurable outcomes across the talent lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Architecting implementation-ready specifications for AI-first HR systems
  • Building and operating workflows using low-code and AI tools (Retool, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt)
  • Executing onboarding, coaching, and release workflows directly while developing automation
  • Constructing performance dashboards that generate actionable, real-time signals
  • Delivering measurable outcomes across entire talent cohortsfrom onboarding to performance optimization

  • Managing traditional HR teams or coordinating with business partners
  • Perpetuating legacy systems or outdated workflows
  • Wasting time in alignment meetings or committee reviews
  • Waiting for engineering resources to build critical tools
  • Relying on static documentation instead of dynamic system feedback
SVP People & Technology Key Responsibilities

Deliver a fully automated HR function that enables scaled global talent operations without traditional managers or manual processes.

Basic Requirements
  • Proven track record designing and implementing operational systems using AI and low/no-code tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, Bolt, Retool, Zapier, Airtable)
  • Demonstrated ability to build working automations and prototypes through direct execution
  • Advanced data analytics capabilities with expertise converting unstructured people data into automated decision logic
  • Demonstrated competence making high-stakes talent decisions without traditional management layers
  • Verified success in high-pressure, high-autonomy environments (startups, turnarounds, rapid-scaling companies)
  • U.S.-based with preference for Austin or ability to travel minimum one week monthly
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Background in business operations, engineering, data analytics, or product management
  • Experience building AI-native systems in high-growth environments
  • Proficiency with emerging AI development platforms and vibe-coding methodologies

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role is immediate and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
