Overview

Base pay range: $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr

What You Will Be Doing
  • Drafting precise, implementation-ready specifications for AI-driven HR systems.
  • Utilizing low-code and AI tools (like Retool, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt) to prototype and manage workflows.
  • Directly managing onboarding, coaching, and release processes when automation isn't in place.
  • Creating dashboards and metrics that provide real-time performance insights.
  • Taking ownership of onboarding, coaching, and releasing entire cohorts with precision.

  • Overseeing a traditional HR team or depending on business partners.
  • Maintaining outdated systems or workflows from legacy organizations.
  • Participating in endless alignment meetings or committee reviews.
  • Waiting for engineers to create the tools you require.
  • Relying solely on documentation instead of dynamic system feedback.
SVP Of Human Capital Systems Key Responsibilities

Deliver a fully automated HR function that enables global talent operations at scale, eliminating the need for traditional managers and manual processes.

Basic Requirements
  • Proven track record of designing and operating systems end-to-end using AI and low/no-code tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, Bolt, Retool, Zapier, Airtable).
  • Hands-on experience in building and delivering working automations and prototypes.
  • Strong data analytics skills with the capability to convert noisy people data into automated decisions.
  • Comfortable making high-stakes talent decisions without the need for a managerial layer.
  • Experience in high-pressure, high-autonomy environments (startups, turnarounds, rapid-scaling companies).
  • Based in the U.S., preferably in Austin, or able to travel at least one week per month.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Background in business operations, engineering, data analytics, or product management.
  • Experience in creating AI-native systems in a high-growth setting.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI development platforms and vibe-coding culture.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
