SVP of Finance/Controller - Vaco : Job Details

Client: Leading Food Manufacturer Role: SVP of Finance/CFO Salary: $200K - $250K Base + Bonus Location: Long Island, New YorkKey Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's financial goals and strategic direction, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Provide financial insight for strategic decisions
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
• Experience with cost accounting and ERP implementation
• Develop financial strategies that positively impact the business
• Oversee financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulations and standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and QuickBooks a plus
• Manage financial risks, oversee cost controls, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability
• Manage the company's capital, including funding, and debt management
• Lead and oversee the finance and accounting teams
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and modeling experience

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field * 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in senior financial management roles (preferably CFO or VP of Finance) within the food manufacturing business * MBA/CPA or CFA highly preferred * Strong leadership skills * Ability to effectively communication with stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, and investors * In depth analytical skills
