Overview
The Solutions Architect is a senior-level position responsible for leading various architectural and engineering activities, including analyzing functional requirements, designing solutions, evaluating options, and presenting comparative analyses with recommendations to senior stakeholders. The individual will apply in-depth domain knowledge of financial services to understand complex business problems and develop effective solution options.

The candidate should be results-oriented, innovative, and motivated to drive efficiency gains, enhance controls, and extend scalability. This is demonstrated through architectural artifacts. The team designs enterprise-wide solutions for critical business needs by leveraging solutions, business, technical, and data architecture. Key stakeholders include operations, product, and application development teams across different lines of business and functions globally.
Responsibilities
Develop solution design options for enterprise-wide initiatives, evaluate possibilities, and recommend solutions across multiple dimensions.Serve as a technology subject matter expert, providing direction for controls, compliance initiatives, projects, and creating a technology roadmap.Evaluate and test architecture solutions to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.Ensure integrations fulfill business goals.Define system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements.Identify problem causes, business impacts, and root causes.Apply knowledge of the domain, competitors, products, and services.Possess strong experience in data structures and their impact on design principles.Mentor junior team members.Influence solution design decisions through advice and facilitation.Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and transparency in control issues.Qualifications
- 6-10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in Financial Services or large, complex/global environments.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking, and reporting.
- Analytic and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate virtually.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and own projects.
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changes.
- Proven experience in operational process improvement.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.
Additional Details
