Sustaining Engineering Manager - Illinois Tool Works : Job Details

Develop and execute test plans for current-product support initiatives including, but not limited to, new material and/or process qualification and validation of product performance due to supplier change and/or cost reduction efforts. Product testing should be in accordance with ASTM, ICC, UL, or other applicable standards. Drive and execute on-going product quality verification. Utilize lab resources to support CBI development. Drive lab maintenance (PM, calibrations, etc.) and identify and drive lab efficiency, and testing accuracy improvements. Drive Safety Culture and expectations of Lake Forest team (lab organization, ppe, applicable JSA, safety reviews)Develop/refine Lab SOPs for product testing and operating equipment. Job Requirements:B. S Engineering Degree 3 years related testing experience with ITW CCNA Anchoring/ Fastening and/or competitive products. High degree of technical acumen.
