Surveyor - Freeport McMoRan : Job Details

Under general supervision, performs detailed field surveys at assigned site. Performs detailed field surveys and may oversee the activities of field survey crews in performing the survey Maintains accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed Updates appropriate conventional and electronic (GIS) files Researches previous survey evidence, maps, physical evidence and other records Recommends methods and procedures for conducting assigned surveys Prepares and presents findings to Engineering and Operational personnel Performs other duties as required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Advanced training or education in surveying, mapping or a related field, and one (1) year of surveying experience relevant to assignment Preferred High School diploma or GED Criteria/ Conditions Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignmen...Surveyor, Construction
