Surgical Technologist - OSF Healthcare : Job Details

The Surgical Tech role provides basic care for patients across the life span. Performs duties of scrub person throughout the intra-operative phase of care. Recognizes significant conditions and reactions and notifies the appropriate patient care team. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Surgical Technologist I: Education: High School Diploma or GED; requires completion of a Surgical Tech program with the ability to sit for certification OR 2 years minimum working in a Surgical Tech role. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Surgical Technologist/ Technician role if completion of a Surgical tech program has not been completed. Licensure/ Certification: American Heart Association CPR (BLS) Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
