About the Role:

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth surgical experience for patients. You'll set up and maintain the Operating Room, gather necessary supplies, and assist during surgical procedures under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support RNs and surgeons by preparing equipment and managing supplies for surgical procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team about patient details and care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical techniques and equipment operation while adhering to aseptic protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Be proactive in problem-solving and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience in an Operating Room setting or completion of an accredited surgical technician program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Good vision and hearing capabilities to monitor patient status and communicate effectively.
