This facility is a rural hospital serving the greater Rhinelander community with 40 beds. The center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the surrounding area and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a community-focused environment.

Opportunity:ACLS-General Surgery

This is a locum tenens opportunity requiring coverage of approximately 20-21 days of call per month starting in September. Call shifts run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM the following day.

Job Details:

• Rural hospital setting with call coverage responsibilities
• Must be comfortable with scopes and treating food bolus/GI bleeds
• Low patient volume of 0-6 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification or eligibility required
• Required skills include general adult surgery and GI endoscopy (upper and lower including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy)
• Preferred skills include trauma, laparoscopic surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication), chest wall/pleural procedures, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion
• 30-90 day credentialing timeframe
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Start date of August 1, 2025 with ongoing assignment potential
