Position Overview
Lead employees to ensure customer satisfaction by moving all shipments on time and damage free.
Essential Functions
Lead, manage, educate, and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth.Supervise and direct employee work (including pre-shifts) with a focus on quality, customer deliverables, and safety, identifying and overseeing improvements.Actively monitor, record, and educate employees regarding unsafe acts/conditions, correcting immediately using corrective actions as needed. Provide feedback and follow-up with all impacted employees.Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure timely and damage-free delivery and pickup of freight.Communicate job assignments clearly and coordinate with all employees.Monitor service freight and ensure compliance with cut times.Analyze and address opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety standards.Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information, and setting appointments.Monitor performance data and gather information for reporting.Build positive relationships with all business partners to meet service standards.Identify freight with incorrect weight and classification.Ensure all OS&D (Overages, Shortages, Damages) is identified and processed properly.Perform Administrative Functions As Required

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of LTL Industry, DOT Rules, OSHA Laws, Hazardous Materials Regulations, NMFC, Tariff Rules, and company policies (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.
Working Conditions
- Dock environment with exposure to weather, fumes, dust, noise.
- Hours may vary based on operational needs.
- Fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with frequent contact with personnel.
