Job DetailsJob Location Clearbrook Central - Arlington Heights, IL Position Type Full Time Salary Range $50000.00 Salary DescriptionSupportive Housing CoordinatorHours: Full time- Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm - 35hrs/week Location: Rolling Meadows, IL (Clearbrook Central)Pay: $50,000/yr Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency specializing in providing innovative tools, services, and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome. General Duties: Supportive HousingCoordinator is responsible for managing all activities related to the helping people obtain and maintain affordable and supportive housing in the community. The Supportive Housing Coordinator reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Department of HumanServices and Department of Mental Health regulations and ensure compliance with these guidelines and regulations.
  • Keep apprised of current practices and developments in service provision andapply these principles to the programs when applicable.
  • Attend staff meetings for the effective operation of the program and the proper and timely dissemination of information.
  • Conduct and attend trainings in accordance with the training policy of Clearbrook.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Program Services.
Program:
  • Maintain a case load of persons served in housing.
  • Conduct independent living assessments with those referred for housing.
  • Provide housing counseling to persons served and families.
  • Provide supportive housing resources to programs and community participants.
  • Keep apprised of current supportive housing resources and contacts.
  • Conduct /facilitate family groups looking for innovative, supportive housing through training, collaboration and resource referral.
Business:
  • Develop and implement sound financial management of the program in cooperation with the Director of Behavioral Health.
  • Document activities timely for billing purposes.
QualificationsEducation-Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or Related Field Preferred: Master's Degree in Human Services or Related Field Experience:Minimum: At least 1 years of experience with Housing and Behavioral Health. Preferred: At least 5 years of experience with Housing and Behavioral Health Credentials/ Licensing: LCP, LCPC, LCSW preferred Full Time Benefits Package:
