Follow through and follow up on all assigned work.* Work with Network Technicians and IS/IT Support to maintain school building technology.* Manage copy machine maintenance and supply orders with the support of the Main Office.* Support network printers, special technology projects, assets and configuration management.* Support the coordination of student testing (Information Systems and Technology)* Provided Information Systems or Information Technology Training to new and existing staff.* Recommend new technology to drive student achievement* Must be familiar with a variety of technology and able to trouble-shoot and resolve issues with Windows computers, iPads, and Chromebooks. The Specialist supports customers in their office, as walk-ins and by phone or video conference using remote support tools.* Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned.* Maintain clear and organized documentation of operational and technology processes, procedures, and resources for school staff use.* Provide and coordinate ongoing Information Systems and Technology training for new and existing staff members, ensuring they can effectively use school systems and tools.* Support the management of information systems and school related-data.* Provide and coordinate ongoing Information Systems and Technology training for new and existing staff members, ensuring they can effectively use school systems and tools.* Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned.Mental/Physical Demands* Requires the ability to maintain emotional control under stress.* Requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 30 lbs. and other routine physical activities.* Ability to hear and see (with correction) at levels to ensure accurate job performance.* Ability to stand, walk and sit-occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.* Ability to maintain a professional appearance.Qualifications and Personal Characteristics* Bachelor's Degree preferred* Valid Driver's License* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Google Applications, Access, etc.…;* Displays maturity and ability to work independently;* Communicates well with others and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, colleagues and community members;* Enjoys working with children of all ages;* Detailed-oriented, strong follow-through skills;* Strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;* Adaptability and comfort working in a complex, fast-paced environment that demands continuous learning and improvement* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction* Outstanding time-management skills and a dedication to meeting deadlines* Fostering collaboration among members of the school's operation team while giving and receiving constructive feedbackTERMS OF EMPLOYMENTTwelve-month employee.EVALUATIONPerformance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the board's policy on evaluation.
