SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (T32) - Alabama Staffing : Job Details

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This National Guard position is for a Supply Technician (T32), Position Description Number D0918000 and is part of the AL USPFO, National Guard. Organization: USPFO, Montgomery, AL Selecting Official: CW5 B. Jacobs

Responsibilities:

• Determines stock replenishment for supplies and other material within funding limitations.
• Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for property.
• Edits supply transactions or provides customer service for urgent critical shortage items and other items requiring special handling.
• Determines stock replenishment for centrally controlled items.
• Incumbent has inventory management responsibility for a relatively small number of items which are decentralized and controlled locally.

Requirements:

Military Requirements: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military grade in the Alabama Army National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Alabama Army National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.

Experience Requirements:

General Experience: Work involving supervising or performing clerical or technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing supply activities.

Specialized Experience: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade.

Education: Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.
