The Opportunity: This position can work out of either our Plymouth, MN or Westfield, IN sites supporting our Structural Heart Medical Device division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
The Supply Planning Manager will plan, direct, and monitor all supply activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.
What You'll Work On:
- Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.
- Daily monitoring of inventory levels for products in the Structural Heart portfolio. Manages inventory to plan, identifies and leads opportunities for improvement, and communicates supply updates to key stakeholders within the network.
- Develop and implement build schedules and procedures.
- Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as financial revenue goals, manufacturing lead times, inventory levels, and service standards.
- Understand supply chain capacity constraints across the supply network. Participates in a sustainable S&OP process.
- Facilitates cross-functional S&OP Franchise meetings. Independently collaborates with global peers to ensure complete and credible net requirements are being captured for products in their portfolio. Supports projects or analysis resulting from S&OP process.
- Liaise with functional and operational area managers (e.g., in finance, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, demand planning and production planning) to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5+ years' work experience in supply planning, demand planning, procurement, supply chain.
- Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/relationships.
- Solid understanding of systems and processes that support supply chain and manufacturing operations, such as SAP ERP and Microsoft suite, with proficiency in Excel.
- Possesses the ability to conduct solid analytics on business problems and datasets. Produces, retrieves, and interprets reports using standard systems and tools. Applies understanding of supply chain-related metrics to accomplish own work.
- Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Has broad knowledge of various technical alternatives and their potential impact on the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS certification or Advanced degree preferred.
The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
