Job Description :

Reporting to Manager of Planning, you'll build and execute raw material planning strategies for assigned plants or co-packers to support scheduled production. You will coordinate with Enterprise Procurement, Operations, Supply Planning, Research & Development, Brand Management, Finance and Logistics to ensure the needs of internal customers are met. In some cases, you will purchase assigned materials to meet production needs with the right quantity at the right time, while at the same time managing working capital.What You'll Do:Ensure all ingredients and packaging materials are available to support ongoing production requirementsManage inventory levels to help mitigate potential supply and quality issuesManage obsolete material inventories with a continuous improvement mindsetProvide support for planning materials or services, cost savings projects and process improvementPromote the processes, procedures and metrics required from the plants to have a valuable supplier scorecardMonitor and analyze data to ensure adequate supplyDevelop and maintain a working relationship with vendorsManage supplier inventory and print runsProvide forecasts and coordinate inventory run out plans on transitioning materialsMonitor vendor quality and service performance with internal customersHelp with product status from time of order placement until plant arrival to be used for production as related to new materialsGuide consistency across plants as it relates to best practices for raw material procurement and supplier relationshipsRequirements:Bachelor's degree required2+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, PlanningExperience using SAP or comparable ERP systemExcel - vlookups, formula relationships, pivot tables).MRP experienceMinimal travel requiredCompensation: Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
