Come join our team, make a difference and wear watches from Timex and some of the biggest brands in the world.Summary Highly motivated and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to develop and tactically execute on a supply plan that optimally supports the business revenue plan. This is a critical role in Sales and Operations Planning, as it will be the primary point of contact between Commercial, Demand Planning, and Manufacturing, translating business plans into clear supply requirements that ensures smooth product flow across the affiliate distribution network. The Distribution Supply Planner is critical to operational success by simultaneously executing against customer demand, optimizing inventory efficiency, and minimizing costs. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, and excellent analytical skills.QualificationsResponsibilities Define safety stock levels and reorder points based on lead times, demand variability, and service level agreements.Generate and reconcile mid- to long-term supply plan against affiliate demand plan that optimize inventory, while minimizing working capital costs and stock-outsDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Order Management to ensure plan alignmentProject and report on forward-looking affiliate location inventory positions, against KPIs such as on-time availability and aging inventory, to measure effectiveness of DRP plans, and resultant financial impactMonitor weekly inter-affiliate movement of inventory, and facilitate cross-functional discussions between Order Management and Manufacturing to ensure adequate prioritization of key requirementsIdentify and promptly resolve supply chain disruptions, such as component and production delays, via cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholdersBecome familiarized with the global Distribution Requirements Planning process, and be in position to fully perform all key activities in a contingency scenario when the primary resource is unavailable; this will entail working on one Saturday in a month Requirements 2+ years of specific experience in Finance Planning, Supply Chain or Planning Management including 2 or more years of S&OP/IBP experience Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging ERP systems and data analysis toolsExperience working in a data-driven decision-making environment, leveraging industry standard KPIs to measure and improve performance Good analytical skills and capable of using modeling techniques for optimization purposes Ability to collaborate with different functions, focus on achieving practical business impact and work at both working team and executive levelsAbility to effectively deal with ambiguity, develop and sometimes invent solutions that may not be traditionalProficient in project management/process improvement skillsIn addition to our wide product offering, Timex Group offers the following benefits:401KRobust Medical, Dental, Vision PlansGenerous Company Holidays/VacationExtended Sick and PersonalHybrid Remote Office PolicySummer Fridays all year long!Parental Leave Policy
