General Description:

This position is responsible for leading and directing a team of Account Coordinators and Logistics Associates. The team is responsible for direct contact with customers, raw material suppliers, sales and commercial managers, and freight carriers. The Team Lead oversees the daily operations between the Supply Chain Team and Procurement, Logistics, and Finance. The Team Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, maintaining strong customer relationships, and leading a team to meet performance standards. Additionally, the Team Lead, in partnership with the Marine Scheduler, is responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing monthly production, raw material needs, and inventory plans for all product lines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate supply chain operations including raw material purchasing, order management, invoicing, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation for PTA NA, PIA NA, NDC, and PNDA
• Manage monthly PTA NA and PIA NA purchasing, sales, and inventory transactions
• Manage NDC, PNDA, and by-product sales and inventory transactions
• Monitor key supply chain metrics and ensure optimal service levels
• Analyze inventory data to minimize shortages, overstocks, and obsolete items
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply disruptions
• Lead, train, and evaluate supply chain staff to ensure adherence to company standards and performance goals
• Implement process improvements and cost-reduction strategies across the supply chain
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance and areas for improvement
• Manage site raw material and finished product inventories and associated production planning
• Develop, optimize, and manage monthly PTA, PX, PIA, NDC, PNDA production and inventory plans at IVXP
• Manage monthly PTA NA and PIA NA purchasing, sales, and inventory transactions
• Develop warehousing plans for packaged product
• Communicates with operating units to manage delivery of the production plan incorporating timelines and priorities for unit outages
• Generates raw material demand basis to support monthly and long-term order needs
• Issues the monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS)
• Minimizes losses due to unavailability through robust planning for planned maintenance and through re-optimization of the plan for unplanned events
• Develops operating plans short and long term with focus on opportunities related to TARs and other significant changes

Education/Experience/Certifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, Engineering/technical discipline or 10 years of comparable experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills

Education/Experience/Certifications Preferred:

• Experience in supply chain/logistics
• Experience with lean principles, inventory optimization, or demand planning
• Experience in financial planning and forecasting
• Six Sigma or Lean Certification
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
