Supply Chain Specialist - The Fountain Group : Job Details

Job Description:

Pay: $27.49/hour

Shift: Must be available for all shifts

Duration: 6-months- potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

Overview:

• Production Schedule Alignment: Collaborate with production planning and operations teams to ensure material supply aligns with production schedules and delivery targets
• Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, including supplier capacity issues and material shortages; develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions
• Cost Savings & Efficiency Initiatives: Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency projects through supplier negotiations, process optimization, and lean principles ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)/MRP(Material Requirements Planning)
• System Utilization: Manage supply chain processes using ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) support system enhancements and data accuracy initiatives
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and resolve issues proactively Analyzes complex material requirements and verifies/incorporates bills of material into production plans
• Ensures on time delivery

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a logistics related role required.
• Must have experience using GOLD.
• Aerospace or military experience highly desired.
