Supply Chain Project Specialist - Mount Nittany Health : Job Details

The project specialist works closely with the Supply Chain Director to establish consensus on capital and special project objectives at Mount Nittany Medical Center (MNMC) and Off-site locations. Achieves these objectives by establishing, managing and leading the project team, leadership, user groups, contractors and members of Supply Chain. Integrates or coordinates the project management process throughout each of it phases (preparatory, initial and follow-up). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor degree in business, healthcare management or related program is required. Experience: Five years of Supply Chain/ Logistics experience in healthcare. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of Joint Commission, Department of Health, and FDA requirements is preferred. Ability to understand, read and interpret floor plans and construction changes is preferred. License/ Certification/ Registration: AHRMM (American Healthcare and Resource Management certification is a plus.
