Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement, inventory management, warehousing operations, and ERP systems as we scale from 80 to 200+ sites nationally. This role will manage the entire supply chain from vendor relationships through warehouse fulfillment, while implementing and optimizing our ERP systems to support rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of supply chain management experience with hands-on ERP implementation expertise and team leadership capabilities in scaling organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop supply chain team including procurement specialists, warehouse operations, and supply chain analysts
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning for direct reports
  • Build and scale supply chain team to support national expansion
  • Foster collaborative culture while maintaining accountability and high performance standards
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top supply chain and procurement talent

Supply Chain Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations from vendor relationships through warehouse fulfillment
  • Lead annual planning cycles and seasonal demand forecasting for educational program implementations
  • Optimize inventory levels, safety stock management, and procurement processes across multiple states
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance for maximum value

ERP Systems Leadership & Implementation

  • Lead ERP system strategy, implementation, and optimization (currently transitioning to Odoo)
  • Design and configure ERP workflows, modules, and reporting systems to support supply chain operations
  • Train team members on ERP processes and ensure data integrity across all supply chain functions
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for supply chain visibility and decision-making
  • Serve as primary ERP expert for supply chain modules and system integration

Warehouse & Procurement Operations

  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and fulfillment processes
  • Manage procurement team and purchasing processes for optimal cost and service delivery
  • Coordinate with external warehouse partners (CRC Corporation) for scalable capacity management
  • Ensure quality control, receiving, kitting, and shipping operations meet company standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse efficiency and procurement effectiveness

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with installation operations team on material requirements and delivery coordination
  • Collaborate with sales team on demand forecasting and capacity planning
  • Coordinate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and supply chain cost management
  • Support education services team with curriculum material requirements and fulfillment
  • Provide supply chain insights and recommendations to executive team

Scaling & Process Development

  • Build repeatable, scalable processes that support rapid geographic expansion
  • Develop operational procedures, training materials, and knowledge management systems
  • Create performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems for operational visibility
  • Design redundancy and succession planning for critical operational functions
  • Lead change management initiatives as the organization scales

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 5-10 years of supply chain management experience with team leadership responsibilities
  • Proven track record of scaling supply chain operations in growing organizations
  • Experience managing complex, seasonal demand patterns and inventory optimization
  • Demonstrated success leading procurement, warehouse, or supply chain teams
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems implementation, optimization, and team training
  • Strong background in supply chain management, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting
  • Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Proficiency in operations analytics, reporting, and performance measurement systems
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, project management tools, and data analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with attention to operational detail
  • Experience building and leading teams through periods of rapid change and growth
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative leadership style with ability to work effectively across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Experience in education, service industries, or project-based supply chain operations
  • Background with seasonal businesses and demand variability management
  • Experience with warehouse operations management and third-party logistics coordination
  • Track record of successful ERP implementations specifically in supply chain modules
  • Previous experience in fast-growing, entrepreneurial organizations
  • Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CSCMP, or similar)
