Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing production planning, supply planning, inventory levels, and customer service. Ultimately, this individual is responsible for ensuring industry-leading service levels while managing production schedules and the cost of inventory.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the consolidation of replenishment requirements and the development of weekly production schedules with the planning team.Manage inventory days of supply and service level agreements in alignment with production operations managers.Drive optimization of product flows, stocking decisions, and fulfillment.Support the purchasing manager throughout the P2P process, including maintaining the demand plan, providing vendor performance feedback, and participating in cost reduction projects.Lead the customer service team to ensure industry-leading OTIF service levels, including outbound logistics planning and management.Develop plans and schedules to support lifecycle and commercialization activities, as well as pre-build plans for scheduled line shutdowns.Coordinate food waste reduction efforts, focusing on FEFO, inventory management, and communication of slow-moving materials.Act as SME for inventory planning activities and physical inventory counts.Utilize and maintain ERP master data to ensure proper material costing and tracking.Support digitalization and continuous improvement projects (e.g., EDI, OCR, GS1, 5S, Six Sigma).Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
Proven team player capable of working collaboratively across all levels and building cross-functional partnerships.Experience in developing teams to meet business objectives and support career growth.Knowledge of MRP systems, with SAP IBP or APO experience preferred.Intermediate or advanced Excel skills; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in food or pharmaceutical industries (GMP, allergens) is strongly preferred.Strong organizational, planning, influence, presentation, and follow-up skills.Initiative and persuasive in idea presentation and implementation.APICS CPIM or similar certification preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Graduate Degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience, especially in supply or demand planning or manufacturing.Work environment includes 10% plant floor and 90% office, with exposure to loud and variable conditions.Must wear PPE on the plant floor.Ready to rise with us? Compensation
Salary range from $110,000 to $140,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
