The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's inventory management and procurement activities. This role ensures that inventory levels are optimized to meet production and operational needs while minimizing costs and waste. The Supply Chain Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate with suppliers, monitor inventory performance, and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with company policies, budgetary guidelines, and industry standards while maintaining strong supplier relationships and managing inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, organization, and management of inventory levels to ensure availability of materials without overstocking. Regularly review inventory reports, track stock levels, and coordinate with production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure the timely delivery of materials and services at the best possible price, while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors, ensuring favorable agreements and strong partnerships.
- Process purchase orders and track the status of requisitions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods. Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays.
- Work with the finance department to develop and manage the procurement budget. Monitor costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses, optimize spending, and improve cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and operations teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels based on production schedules and market trends.
- Work closely with logistics teams to ensure the efficient movement of goods, both inbound and outbound. Coordinate deliveries to meet production timelines and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor supplier performance through key metrics such as on-time delivery, quality of goods, and responsiveness. Implement corrective actions with underperforming suppliers and identify alternative vendors when necessary.
- Ensure all procurement processes are in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Lead initiatives to improve inventory turnover, reduce excess stock, and minimize obsolescence. Implement best practices for inventory control, such as just-in-time (JIT) and lean inventory management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and cost savings to senior management. Use data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: o 5 years related experience in manufacturing environment. o Preferred: NetSuite literacy

Pay: $79,500.00 - $110,678.00 per year
