Responsibilities
Establish and lead a Sales and Operations Planning process engaging all organizational functions to provide a forward-looking view of capacity utilization, sourcing, demand management, process development, inventory, and operational issues to support strategic initiatives.Ensure synchronization across business segments (Manufacturing, ARG, OEM) from a planning perspective, optimizing manufacturing capacity to meet demand plans.Make clear, data-driven decisions, applying good judgment when data is incomplete. Be self-directed, decisive, and able to set direction quickly.Implement best practices within manufacturing plants and materials management departments to improve performance, leading and empowering teams to develop solutions.Work with all organizational levels and functions, performing detailed financial analyses and presenting complex data clearly to executive leadership with recommended solutions.Implement world-class materials management practices across manufacturing locations, tracking KPIs to meet business objectives.Maintain capacity and sourcing plans that optimize asset utilization and minimize costs, considering operational dynamics like labor contracts and capital projects.Manage total inventories, establish KPI targets, forecast, and react to deviations to balance working capital and service levels while minimizing obsolescence.Develop and maintain materials management policies for the aftermarket business, using forecasting and supply planning tools.Create capacity plans in collaboration with commercial and marketing teams for short, medium, and long-term planning.Align development plans for managers with strategic objectives, fostering accountability and focus.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in science, math, or supply chain discipline required; Master's preferred.Minimum five years in Supply Chain or Operations Planning management.At least five years managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.Experience with glass fabrication is preferred.APICS certification is preferred.Additional Details
