Supply Chain Director - Winchester Ammunition : Job Details

Title: Supply ChainDirector Locations: This position will be located primarily at our East Alton, IL facility with regular presence in the Clayton, MO office and up to 30% domestic travel to other facilities.

Focus: The Director of Supply Chain will be a strategic leader focused on aligning and optimizing planning, inventory, and operations across multiple full-cycle manufacturing sites.

Supply Chain Director Essential Functions:

• Bring consistency to production reporting, inventory accuracy, and scheduling metrics across Winchester manufacturing locations by partnering with local supply chain managers and site leaders.
• Lead and continuously improve the division-wide S&OP and production planning cycle to improve forecast accuracy, production planning, and customer fulfillment.
• Oversee working capital, reduce obsolescence, and manage blocked inventory by implementing smarter planning processes and enhancing the use of ERP systems (SAP) for reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align supply chain strategies and decision-making inputs.
• Deliver insights on forecast variances, inventory health, and KPI trends to drive cost-effective, responsive operations.
• Lead a local team and have direct responsibility over our local East Alton, IL location. Provide indirect oversight to supply chain functions at Winchester & White Flyer locations throughout the U.S.

Supply Chain Director Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree* required; supply chain, business, finance, or related discipline preferred.
• 7+ years of supply chain experience within fast-paced manufacturing.
• Multi-plant leadership experience optimizing processes across locations and teams.
• Expertise in S&OP and managing large inventories with seasonal, high-SKU complexity.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a bias for action and process improvement.
• Excel proficiency required; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 30% between our facilities across the U.S.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
