Summary

To maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction through various accounting, processing, and communicative activities.

What You'll Do
  • Calculate material orders using systems, place orders to suppliers, and manage deliveries
  • Control Inventory - managing the balance between customer demand and supplier schedules to avoid shortages or excess inventory (basic supply chain management).
  • Analyze Data - use data to identify problems before they occur and address them quickly to minimize impact on customers
  • Place Sales Orders and Arrange Delivery - communicate customer orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Calculate Pricing and Work with Budgets - accurately price parts using supplier quotes and standardized quotations, and create budgets for expected sales and gross profit
  • Maintain Excellent Relationships with Customers and Suppliers - daily follow-up and reassurance are required for success at TAI
  • Attend and Facilitate Meetings - comfortable speaking in front of multiple individuals
  • Set Up Parts in the Database - accurately set up new parts using customer specification sheets
  • Facilitate JIT deliveries - coordinate with suppliers, transportation companies, and customers to ensure JIT delivery
  • Assist with Accounting and Quality Issues - support other departments in resolving issues when needed
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree – supply chain management is ideal but not necessary
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in groups
  • Knowledge of flat roll metals including steel and aluminum is a plus
