Essential Functions:
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership to promote safety, environmental, and asset protection initiatives, fostering a culture of health and safety throughout the facility.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and walkthroughs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
  • Manage third-party security services and oversee all asset protection equipment.
  • Implement and monitor Lowe's Security programs, ensuring staffing and procedural adherence.
  • Lead safety, shrink mitigation, investigations, and environmental health efforts at assigned locations.
  • Support facility leadership in operational activities to minimize risks.
  • Manage incident reporting, review processes, and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as the main liaison for regulatory inquiries and compliance.
  • Analyze incident trends and worker's compensation metrics.
  • Lead projects to enhance safety, environmental, shrink, investigations, and support programs.
  • Participate in teams to develop risk reduction strategies across the supply chain.
  • Develop and deliver training on emergency management, safety, environmental issues, and new hire orientation.
  • Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials per regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of supply chain facilities, developing action plans for deficiencies.
  • Contribute to system design planning to reduce injury and regulatory risks.
  • Investigate internal theft opportunities and lead related investigations and training.
  • Establish frameworks for safety and shrink data management.
  • Provide guidance during new building setups or conversions, monitoring safety and shrink programs.
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Associate's Degree in Safety Science, Industrial Health, Risk Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of retail safety experience.
    Preferences:
    • Experience with multi-location retail or warehouse/distribution centers.
    • Certifications such as CSP, ASP, WSO, ARM.
    • OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certification.
