The objective of this role is to manage and administer ALDI Supply Chain programs by economically securing product for the business, which in turn, promotes the company's objectives of maximizing sales and controlling expenses. In addition, the position will assist with the advancement of numerous Supply Chain initiatives in accordance with company guidelines. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for using Coupa, as the modelling platform to provide multiple what if scenarios and summarizing findings in a clear, concise way. The Supply Chain Analyst will work with the other members of the team to do advanced coding and analytics and improving the current methodology for input and output of the data through SQL, VBA, and or Python while working in the optimization tool. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing supplier data, identifying savings in sourcing and transportation costs, making recommendations for supplier award to different distribution centers while maintaining high-quality standards. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including National Buying, Logistics, and Operations to ensure effective supplier performance. The candidate will play in integral role in onboarding new categories and identifying nuances of those new categories, as well as further improvements to the current categories through necessary IT channels.
