Summary: Under the general direction of the Procurement Director, this role is responsible for the development and maintenance of Purchasing reporting, supplier/vendor analytics, and LCW and 3rd party supplier/vendor planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities – include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supply Chain Analyst • Develop and maintain reporting for the Procurement team. (Open Order Report, Purchase Requisition Review, KPI Dashboard, etc.) • Liaison with Quality team to develop and maintain reports (Supplier Service Rate, SSC, Vendor Cards, etc.) • Liaison with the Strategic Inventory and Operations Planning/SIOP Director in developing best practices to manage purchase requisitions. • Drive continuous process improvement and participate in initiatives led by colleagues. • Develop into an SAP Key User (SME) & Master Data* responsible for Procurement. • Participate with the Environmental Regulations team to ensure material compliance through REACH. • Create, develop, and maintain procurement SOPs and work instructions for key purchasing tasks. • Oversee stock transfer management based on demand analysis • Material Purchase Info Record and Source List creation and management • Partner with sales, product management, and engineering to ensure materials are appropriately classified. • Participate as needed in supplier/vendor meetings & support day to day Procurement operations with ad-hoc analysis by request. *Master Data Management • Material creation as needed for various plants (6100, 6120, 6140, 6500, 6600) • Material Management: Maintain all material data fields for all plants • Continuously audit and maintain the integrity and accuracy of master data • Process mass changes to material master as needed • Assist Lapp Global Organization with new processes set up and testing as needed • Act as a Liaison between North America and Global Material Master Groups • Subject matter expert in Material Master and in this capacity continuously seeks to streamline Material Master processes • Partners with Product Manager to create Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing and production schedules for modified and new kits as needed Competencies • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude • Strong Excel and data management skills. • Ability to interact and influence department leaders, peers and team members • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, SAP Analysis for Microsoft excel/AFO) & Microsoft suite including advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Automate. • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and use time efficiently • Adheres to company policies and procedures, and maintains a professional demeanor QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and suppliers/vendors. Proficiency in the English language, written and spoken is required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good knowledge of Internet software; SAP; and exceptional Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel. COMPENSATION: After thorough market analysis, LAPP takes many factors into consideration when determining base salary such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, etc. of the candidate. The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
