New England Wire Products is looking for an ambitious Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team! Candidates must have attention to detail, a high level of problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. The Supply Chain Analyst works with the managers and production team to support the development reporting that provides visibility into what drives the Supply Chain, accurate inventory tracking, and logistics support. You will develop insights that lead to a greater understanding of inventory movement and will also help us optimize product flow within the network. Ultimately you will help us lower our total cost to serve our customers and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of quality and quantity stock levels, and assist in inventory management plan.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Working within the ERP system to meet the needs upper-level management requires.
- Promote effective communication among departments to engage our team to work together to achieve common goals.
- Assists with data collection and reporting.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable (automated) reports that track progress towards plans.
- Drive standardization of tools and processes to build scalable execution plans with business and operations teams.
- Work directly with internal departments on the production floor (distribution analysis, purchasing, warehousing, finance, customers service) to identify and resolve issues pertaining to operational efficiency and cost control.
- Provide reports/documents in support of future supply chain strategy.
- Serve as subject matter consultant for data, analytics and all topics related to network capacity and utilization.
Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Ability to walk the factory floor on a daily basis.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural environment.
- Advance Excel (vlookup, pivot, formulas)
- Microsoft office suite (sharepoint)
- Database knowledge, making connections and extracting data.
Education/Experience
- BS in Business Admin, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- 2+ year's minimum experience in a Supply Planning/Demand Planning or Supply Chain function
- Proficient with ERP technology, Office 365, Excel
