Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven supply chain analyst to join our team. The supply chain analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure a balance between supply and demand. This involves monitoring stock levels, analyzing sales trends, forecasting future needs, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory including negotiations with vendors. This position is located On-site at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory monitoring and analysis for current inventory levels, identifying potential shortages or overstocks.

2. Predicting future inventory needs based on historical sales data while incorporating seasonality.

3. Implement strategies to minimize inventory holding costs, including negotiations with vendors.

4. Working with other departments (production, procurement, logistics, commercial) to ensure smooth product flow.

5. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or related field.

· Minimum five years of experience in inventory management.

· Strong analytical skills and knowledge of inventory management principles.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.

· Having experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a definite plus.

Key Competencies:

· Proactive, strong analytical, and communication skills.

· Proven track record of problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience with databases.

· Experience with VMI.

· Reporting using key performance indicators.

· Developing and implementing inventory policies and procedures.

· Coordinating with other key stakeholders to resolve issues.

· Attention to detail and accuracy are key skills for this position.

· Ability to analyze large and complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.

· The ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing business needs is essential.
