JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for day-to-day analysis and optimization of supply chain, looking to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of goods. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with 3rd party manufacturers to support planning, purchasing, and inventory control functions. Scope leads to delivery of finished goods to customers at the right time, place, and cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and scheduling production of work-in-process and finished goods
  • Assists Director, Supply Chain in raw material requirements planning and purchasing
  • Coordinates transfer of products between 3rd party manufacturers
  • Assists in maintaining reliable information in ERP system, performs accurate transactions
  • Conducts/Oversight of routine physical inventories at manufacturing facilities
  • Analyzes, Identifies, and addresses gaps in supply chain through understanding of best practices
  • Becomes subject matter expert of ERP software with detailed understanding of system functionality
  • Compiles and reports-out supply chain KPIs monthly
  • Develops, updates, and maintains SOPs as required
  • Sorts and files documentation from sourcing and purchasing activities
  • Follows and maintains corporate policies, regulations, and financial compliance
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for the nicotine/tobacco industry

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years relevant experience in planning, scheduling, and purchasing functions
  • 2+ years of using ERP software (NetSuite experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field required
  • CSCP, CPIM, or any relevant APICS/ASCM certification a plus
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels internally and externally
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be dependable, professional, and confident. Can follow instructions and respond to management direction
  • Able to pass all background checks as mandated by JOEY
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Minimal travel may be required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, photocopier/scanner, and a phone/cell phone.
  • Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position
  • Must be able to keep up with mental and physical demands of a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to travel domestically by car or air

This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.
