Supplier Quality Engineer - Epitec : Job Details

Epitec is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our automotive client's team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty and vehicle delivery metrics.

Top Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier launch readiness and ensure compliance with Ford's quality, capacity, and delivery standards.
• Drive resolution of supplier issues through cross-functional collaboration with Ford and supplier leadership.
• Serve as the principal on-site lead for emergency troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Validate manufacturing feasibility and enforce adherence to client standards (e.g., Q1).
• Execute APQP and PPAP processes to ensure robust product quality.
• Analyze supplier performance data to inform future sourcing decisions.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in one or more manufacturing processes: casting, machining, forging, stamping, welding, molding, assembly, automation, paint, chroming, sintering, etc.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and quality management systems.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with supplier quality assurance and launch support in automotive or related industries.
