In this role, you will drive GE Aerospace quality standards for assigned suppliers, support customer disruption RCCA and defect tracking, resolve actions identified during problem solving, own supplier results, coordinate with customers on corrective action results from suppliers, and implement improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. In addition, you must demonstrate an understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish their own work, as well have an understanding of how the work of their own team integrates with other teams and contributes to GE Aerospace, as a business.

Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.

• Lead supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting assigned suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Track metrics & works quality improvement plans to address problem areas
• Review and approve quality plans, investigate quality escapes to provide root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are taken
• Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements
• Ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans where needed
• Review documentation and witness supplier practices to determine if sound manufacturing and inspection principles are in place
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a quality and/or composites manufacturing to execute policy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
• Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Shop Operations, Supply Chain Materials or Sourcing) + A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering

The base pay range for this position is 90,000.00 - 107,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
