Job Description :

We're actually seeking a Supplier Delivery Assurance Specialist for a contract role who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability of our supplier deliveries and enhancing production efficiency.

In this position, you will closely collaborate with the engineering teams, quality control division, and production to uphold our commitment to timely and dependable deliveries while optimizing production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Assurance: Your primary responsibility as a Supplier Delivery Assurance and Production Specialist will be to guarantee the on-time and quality delivery of components from our suppliers. This includes:
  • Delivery Monitoring: Continuously monitor supplier delivery schedules to ensure alignment with our production needs.
  • Quality Control: Collaborate with our quality control division to ensure that delivered components meet our quality standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve delivery issues to prevent disruptions in our production lines.
  • Production Optimization: Leverage your expertise in production management to optimize production processes and expedite tasks. This includes:
  • Production Oversight: Monitor and oversee production activities at supplier facilities to ensure they align with our production schedules and quality standards.
  • Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize tasks and orders to meet critical deadlines and prevent disruptions in our production lines.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for all delivery-related matters. Establish and nurture open communication channels to ensure the smooth flow of deliveries and production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier network and production workflows, focusing on enhancing delivery reliability and production efficiency.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of delivery and production-related supplier performance, issues, and improvements. Generate regular reports for internal stakeholders and clients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Delivery Assurance Expertise: Extensive experience in supplier delivery assurance is essential. You should have a proven track record of ensuring timely and reliable deliveries.
  • Production Management Background: Previous experience in production management within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Supplier Management Experience: Prior experience in supplier management, particularly in delivery assurance and production coordination, is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and reporting tools, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with suppliers and conveying delivery and production expectations clearly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address delivery and production issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies to enhance delivery reliability and production efficiency.
  • Project Management: Experience or skills in project management, especially as it relates to delivery assurance and production optimization, are advantageous.
