Direct areas of oversight include Record Imaging, Medical Record Completion, Clinical Forms management, and Regional/Metro Services support related to HIM activities of responsibility.Responsible for meeting regulatory standards, such as the Record of Care standards for The Joint Commission and state and federal law.Schedule & Location: Children's WI Summit Office | ONSITE Monday - Friday | 1.0 FTE - 40 hours/week Education, Certification, Etc. Associate's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) and active Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) required and/or a Bachelor's degree in a related health care field along with work experience in an HIM department.A Bachelor's degree in HIM, with certification as Registered Health Information Management Administrator (RHIA) is preferred.Experience & Skills: Two year of related experience in a hospital setting, experience in HIM preferred.Focus on supervision/ leadership in similar healthcare type setting also preferred.Ability to achieve departmental goals through effective supervision of employees.Requires excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with physicians, clinicians, and department personnel as well as outside vendors.Requires and ability to initiate action, creatively solve problems, write reports and deal with tight deadlines.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
