Supervisor - Medical Lab - Central Lab Collection - University of Mississippi Medical Center : Job Details

Provides technical expertise and support to Laboratory and Pathology Services. Assists in laboratories' technical operations in providing efficient, timely, and cost-effective laboratory services that support exceptional patient experiences. Serves as technical resource for all outside labs. Seeks direction from Lab Director and Medical Director as needed. Education & Experience. Bachelor's degree in a Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution, Cytotechnologist, or Histotechnologist plus four (4) years of related experience in area(s) to be managed. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Active credentials with one of the following:-American Association of Bioanalyst (AAB) MT-American Medical Technologist (AMT) MT-National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) CLS or CLSP (CG)-International Society for Clinical Laboratory Technology (ISCLT) RMT-American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - MT, CT, ...Lab, Lab, Technical Support, Supervisor, Medical, Medical Director, Healthcare
