Supervisor Laboratory Services - Dignity Health : Job Details

In collaboration with the Medical Laboratory Director, manages the Quality Assurance Program for the department. Develops and maintains a service orientation in performing duties with fellow employees, patients, medical staff and visitors. Has operational responsibility for the clinical/technical aspects of a section of the laboratory. Performs job duties of Medical Technologist; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Qualifications. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school. Current California CLS license. Current licensure with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent.
