Operations Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Pay rate: $36/hour

Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the near future

Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday night to Thursday night, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM)

Training: May occur on 1st shift

Overtime: Required as needed

PPE: Metatarsal boots required

Driving Requirement: Yes – operation of Cushman vehicle on warehouse floor

Vehicle Weight: 10,000 pounds or less

Position Summary

The Operations Supervisor will lead departmental operations to meet and exceed performance metrics. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage both salaried and hourly personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations during off-shift hours
• Ensure departmental goals and metrics are achieved
• Coordinate material flow and distribution processes
• Communicate effectively across teams and shifts

Required Qualifications

• Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution and material flow processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a unionized environment
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (CI) and 5S methodologies
• Experience with incentive pay systems (e.g., CIPP) and work measurement
• Proficiency in statistical tools for quality management
• Background in project management
• Experience in capacity and manpower planning

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred
• OR 1+ years of equivalent relevant work experience
