Supervisor II Logistics
Supports logistics processes, activities, and customers for all modes of transportation.
Job Requirements:
- Preparing monthly reports on operational and financial metrics.
- Monitoring performance of all carriers in a supply stream. Addressing issues and interfacing with carriers to maintain expected levels of service.
- Optimizing process flows to track lead-time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
- Creating and implementing ground, air and/or ocean freight transports, and warehousing in support of a product supply chain.
What Your Background Should Look Like:
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience.

Job Duties:
- Direct the activity of the DC receiving team to achieve prescribed objectives.
- Apply sound communication and motivation techniques, create programs to supervise, counsel and discipline subordinates.
- Monitor an appropriate performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases, bonuses and terminations.
- Monitor DC workload and plan operational strategy to meet daily productivity and service goals.
- Urgent shipment push and closely follow up to ensure operation lead time meet schedule.
- Data analysis for root cause identification on inbound materials goods receipts and discrepancies issues.
- Plan, supervise and execute all logistics requirements for TE's customers.
- Carriers' shipment push and urgent expedite execution for TE orders to meet schedule.
- Lead TEOA efforts within the facility and act as liaison with business unit customers, stakeholders, and TE senior leaders.
- Develop and maintain a productive work team by creating programs for hiring training and development.
- Ensure the necessary warehouse information systems are used to meet company objectives and facilitate the efficient operations of the warehouse.
- Provide directions to the local IT team and corporate systems to enable productivity, quality and cost improvements through improved systems.
- Remain knowledgeable regarding changes in hardware and software technology.
- Assist in the establishment of customer satisfaction standards and communicate these standards to all personnel.
- Develop and maintain physical procedures and standard work for all functional areas of DC.
- Directly participate in the progress of SWDC for achieving/maintaining all TEOA star levels.
- Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and TL9000 (5.0) certifications.
- Develop suitable programs for maintaining company standards of sanitation, maintenance, security, emergency action, housekeeping and safety.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
