ABOUT THE TEAM

The Supervisor role will report into the Supervisor position and will be a part of the Digital Strategy & Activation Team. This team works collectively to ensure that we have a detailed understanding of and a pulse on the media landscape, make smart investments with media partners, negotiating mutually favorable terms, and plan and execute client media buys that best deliver on their business and marketing objectives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories:

• Supervise and supporting training efforts of Specialists and Associatesand they are progressing in their roles.
• Reviews and supports goals of Specialists/Negotiators.

• Develops and maintains strong partner relationships and contributes to communicating client needs to partnerships team.
• Own negotiations for assigned clients and campaigns.
• Lead holding vendors accountable to APEX standards.
• First point of escalation for campaign issues with partner.
• Identify new opportunities and partnerships that support overall client needs.
• Establish partner relationships across industry.
• Oversee day-to-day team negotiations.
• Supervise decisions across team to shift media.

• Understands both Strategy and Activation and can lead across on a high level account.
• Be responsible for campaign lifecycle ensuring a smooth, accurate process and service on key accounts.
• Last Touch QA for Specialists.
• Understands end to end billing process and runs timely reconciliation and approvals for team.
• Owns full process for high level account(s).
• Contribute to discrepancy resolution for assigned clients and campaigns.
• Ensure Salesforce is accurate and up-to-date for all opportunities for accounts with oversight.
• Supervise usage of tools and team input to ensure data accuracy for reporting, etc.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that's great but we do need folks with basic level of understanding of how media investment works.

• 4-7 years of experience with Basic knowledge of media is essential for success in this role
• Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel)
• Strong media financial competence is mandatory
• Business financial savvy is preferred
• Basic understanding of the media landscape

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $106,260 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
