Supervisor Community Outreach - AmeriHealth Caritas : Job Details

Work Arrangement:

• Remote - however candidates must line in mid to eastern part of North Carolina and be able to travel throughout that region up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day supervision and providing oversight for Community Outreach teams.
• Lead the Community Educator team, coordinate coverage, escalate risks, and support staff in the field and at community events.
• Conduct monitoring and tracking of individual community outreach staff activities to ensure quality and accuracy of information.
• Manage weekly schedules and facilitate daily and weekly reports.

Education/ Experience:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years supervisory experience
• Ability to travel (75%) extensively within assigned communities. Valid driver's license and access to an adequately insured vehicle (per state requirements) required
• Additional licenses, if/as required by the state
• Strong familiarity with the given state's territory/geography preferred

Other Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Health education, marketing or public health experience, preferred
• Leadership, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Some training experience a plus
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent decision-making and follow-up skills
• Attention to detail and ability to plan and organize
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
