Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, manage, and monitor laboratory activities to meet project goals and organizational needs.
  • Prepare and approve documentation related to projects.
  • Manage project resources to ensure client timelines are met.
  • Provide technical expertise and daily interaction with scientific teams and management.
  • Communicate effectively to keep teams informed of work plans, results, and recommendations.
  • Advise clients based on expertise and analysis.
  • Represent the work unit internally and externally as a source of consultation.
  • Ensure training is available for team members.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring the work unit's budget and performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • College Degree in Science (Canada) or Bachelor Degree in Science (US); relevant certifications may be accepted.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and analytical software.
  • Experience in regulatory environments, bioanalytical labs, and managing technical staff.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Scientific problem-solving abilities.
