My client is a leading general contracting and construction management firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the tri-state area. With a specialized focus in healthcare, we pride ourselves on precision, safety, and excellence in complex, regulated environments.

My client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Superintendent with a strong background in healthcare construction to oversee daily operations on active job sites throughout Westchester County. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing renovations and new construction projects in occupied healthcare environments, such as hospitals, surgical centers, and medical office buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety standards
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure efficient workflow and quality control
  • Maintain a strong focus on infection control and interim life safety measures (ILSM), particularly in occupied healthcare facilities
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct daily site walkthroughs and hold regular coordination meetings
  • Monitor and enforce site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies
  • Prepare and maintain daily logs, reports, and other documentation as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent on healthcare projects
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, including infection control, ICRA, and working in active medical environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in reading construction documents and managing project schedules
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • ICRA certification strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites throughout Westchester County
