Summary: Our client is seeking a highly driven and experienced Superintendent to lead site development projects with their clients across the southeastern United States.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Communicate relevant project information to the appropriate people in a timely and accurate manner
- Understand project requirements and be able to identify and develop plans for risks and opportunities
- Responsible for developing an execution plan for the project
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and according to the project requirements the first time
- Ensure the crews are prepared daily for execution through defined planning processes
- Review time sheets and utilize the Quantity Log to ensure correct time and quantities
- Develop and orchestrate work from a two week schedule this is in alignment with the project schedule
- Responsible for meeting project execution goals
- Create a record of the project with Daily Activity Reports and job photos
- Align manpower and equipment for optimal results and create field personnel development opportunities
- Protect and maintain all company and rental equipment and property
- Compile daily labor hour review reports to ensure time and quantities align with the budget
- Participate in the structured occasions as identified in the Planning & Measurement Process
- Ensure timely reporting of all accidents, incidents, rework, damage, and near misses
- Maintain customer relationships by staying engaged throughout the project
Qualifications and requirements:
- Heavy civil/site development experience required
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.
- Subject to a background screening process
