Key Bridge Boathouse Summer Camp is a day camp running for 8 weeks from June through August. The ideal candidate is able to work full-time during the summer, from 8 am to 5 pm, and has prior experience teaching or managing a day camp.

$21.00 USD per hour

• Determine staffing needs
• Hire and train staff
• Supervise staff according to company policy
• Set goals for employees
• Develop boating lesson plans and staff training
• Provide guidance to campers and counselors, leading by example with leadership and compassion
• Participate in all camp activities and meetings
• Ensure health and safety of campers and staff
• Respond to emails, phone calls, and inquiries
• Maintain communication with parents regularly
• Operate motor boats and rental equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of management principles
• Proficiency in relevant software
• Customer service skills
• Intermediate boating skills (kayaking, canoeing, etc.)
• Two weeks of full-time administrative experience in a camp or similar setting
• At least 21 years old
• Eight weeks of full-time experience working with children aged 6-15
• Preferred certifications: USSailing, ACA, WSI Instructor, Lifeguard trainer, CPR/First Aid
• Basic Spanish speaking skills preferred

• Driver's license
• Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard or equivalent
