DescriptionPosition at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.This position will provide overall support and supervision to the Finished Goods department, oversee Warehousing accuracy, Inventory control, respond to SEWS Safety related items and rules, provide clear and specific communication to the FG / OPS team to execute company directives. Verifies completeness and accuracy of associates job performance for receiving, stocking, picking, shipping and material handling. Supports the management of building compliance and maintenance. Meet Safety Standards, Quality Standards, Productivity Goals. Evaluate and create KPIs for key areas and to manage and control Cost Objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:* Develop, manage and ensure the implementation of distribution activities, schedules and methods to attain goals and ensure procedural compliance in the Distribution facility.* Ensure a safe work environment by all SEWS Internal Safety rules, SWS and OSHA in compliance. Participate vigorously in all Safety activities and to respond in a timely manner to all Safety related matters.* Supervise facility personnel for compliance with company policies and corrective actions.* Provide overall Facility supervision, guidance and feedback to the associates, other support areas and management.* Understand all Customers specific requirements.* Responsible for monitoring and reporting all Operation KPIs, create, maintain and update Operation results and metrics.* Understand and implement procedures/processes to meet TS 16949/IATF 16949 and MMOG requirements.* Responsible for meeting Customer 100% on time delivery requirements.* Responsible for meeting 100% inventory accountability and accuracy.* Support Management on any building maintenance and compliance activities* Support and assigned resources for the SEWS Physical Inventory twice a year.* Coordinate Service Parts process, flow and on time shipping and delivery to the Customer.* Performed other duties as needed and required by Department Manager, by Company and as business needs.Qualifications:* 5-10 years work experience in a multi shift Warehousing Operation, must be able to resolve complex issues of a moderate to high scope using independent judgement.* Excellent interpersonal communication and managerial skills.* 5 years minimum experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution and/or Manufacturing.* Requires a high level of leadership experience, supervising both salary and hourly associates, working with all levels of staff and associates.* Strong computer skills are required, such as MS Excel, Workd, PowerPoint, Outlook; as well as WMS, ERPLX, etc. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.* Valid state issued driver's license.About Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.
