Job Description

Success Academy's mission is to reimagine public education through innovative approaches, including curriculum development and leveraging technology. We have grown rapidly to serve 20,000 students across NYC, with plans to expand further.

About the Role

We seek a high-performing, analytical, and collaborative individual to support our FP&A team, providing financial insights and supporting operational and financial processes across the organization. The role reports to the Head of FP&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to analyze performance, develop KPI metrics, and track trends.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with models and dashboards.
• Provide monthly reporting, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity assessments.
• Lead financial update meetings with stakeholders.
• Contribute to financial reporting for senior management.
• Drive operational efficiencies through automation.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building complex financial models.
• Understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Slides skills.
• Experience with ERP systems or reporting tools.
