Step 2: Complete a background check using our district codes. Please see two sets of instructions below. If this is your first time getting a background check/being fingerprinted:
Click here and enter your social security number. On the next screen, select Option 1. Complete all required applicant information. Under Job Category, select Substitute Teacher. Under Public School Selection, use:- County: Morris (27)

Accept the terms and click Next. Complete the payment information. Select View and/or print your New Administration Fee Payment Request and print a copy for your records. Select View and/or print your IdentoGO NJ Universal Fingerprint Form, print the form, and make sure to bring it to your appointment. Select Click here to schedule your fingerprinting appointment with Idemia to make an appointment, or call 1-877-###-####. Use the Service Code 2F1FB1 for PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYMENT when scheduling your appointment (Contributor Case Number). If you have been fingerprinted in the past:
Visit this website and enter your information. Write down the first PCN number displayed. Click the menu button and select Office of Student Protection. Select File Authorization and Make Electronic Payment. Choose Archive Application Request. Enter your social security number and select Option 1. Enter your PCN number and complete the required information. Under Job Category, select Substitute Teacher. Under Public School Selection, use:County:- Morris (27)

Accept the terms and click Next. Complete the payment information Select View and/or print your New Administration Fee Payment Request and print a copy for your records. You can view and print your background check once cleared by entering your information here. You must upload this as a PDF to your substitute teacher application.
